Sir Bobby Charlton
Footballing legend, Sir Bobby Charlton, founded Find A Better Way after witnessing the destruction caused by landmines on visits to Cambodia and Bosnia. He remains heavily involved in the charity's activities and ongoing development.
Tom Doherty
Currently a non-executive director of Samsung Fire and Marine ( Europe ) Ltd., a subsidiary of Samsung Group. Before retirement in 2015, he served as a UK board member and UK executive committee member of AIG, and a member of the leadership team for AIG EMEA responsible for sales and client management across 47 countries of operation.
John Shiels
The CEO of Manchester United’s charitable arm, the Manchester United Foundation, since 2008. During this time he has help leverage the power of the Manchester United brand and the appeal of football to change the lives of young people in Manchester and around the world. Before this, he served as a consultant for Nike for nine years, and as managing director of the Bobby Charlton Soccer & Sports Academy from 1979 - 1999.
Lady Charlton
Lady Charlton has played a central role in Find A Better Way since Sir Bobby Charlton first encountered the problems arising from landmine use during a visit to Cambodia in 2008. A mother and grandmother, she married Sir Bobby in 1961 and has been his most trusted advisor ever since.
Stephen Cross
Independent Risk Advisor with 35 years experience in the global risk and insurance advisory industry. Most recently Stephen held the role of Chief Innovation Officer at Aon Risk Solutions (ARS) where he was responsible for developing and driving innovation globally. He has lived and worked in many countries over his career.
